Located in Acquigny, just a 2-minute walk from the castle, L’Hostellerie d’Acquigny offers a terrace and a restaurant. Évreux is a 20-minute drive from the property and Giverny is a 25-minute drive away. Rouen is a 40-minute drive from the accommodation. The rooms are big, spacious, they are so comfortable and very clean. The people who work here are not so many since it’s not huge hotel but they are the best, really friendly. The restaurant serves excellent food!!! You absolutely have to visit the restaurant even if you’re not staying as a guest.

Some rooms can accommodate guests with reduced mobility. Our room (or should we say apartment?) had an interesting configuration (nice!), was very spacious and always clean. The view to the beautiful garden of the property is gorgeous. Our breakfast was brought in a picknick basket to the room and prepared from a wide range of delicious things we could choose from for every taste. Hotel Les Canisses is located in the land of the famous Impressionists painters. It is just 16 km from the village of Giverny, where the beautiful house of Monet is open for visitors. We had a large upgraded room overlooking the Seine. Quiet. Seemed like a local fine dining restaurant but also catered to boaters with its small marina.
