After a long day of exploring, sinking into such a plush and supportive bed was pure bliss. I slept exceptionally well every night, which is a rare treat when traveling. Also, It was a truly delightful culinary experience! The fish was superb, and the overall atmosphere of the brasserie was just perfect. Combining the outstanding dinner with the extraordinary breakfast and that incredibly comfortable bed, your hotel truly offers a complete and luxurious experience. The Hostellerie Schwendi serves creative, regional cuisine in the hotel’s restaurant, which is open everyday except on Wednesdays. The scene was perfect. The city and the location of the hotel within the old castle was just breath-taking. We were lucky that it was snowing once we arrived and it was just beautiful from the room. If you have dogs, there are plenty of opportunities to walk your dogs around the hotel. Room was clean and very comfortable. Although it's a pretty old building, no sound or noise during day or night. We're very pleased with our stay and would like to return for sure!

Great location in the middle of the village. Walking distance to everywhere. The hotel itself was great. The Michelin-starred restaurant was very good, but the prices were much higher than essentially any comparable Michelin-starred restaurant I've been to (and that's a few...). Also, the only breakfast option was a 45 euro / person buffet, while their bakery is close almost half the week...
