This hotel is divided into 2 buildings from the 18th-century, a former school, from Napoleon III period. This is another place that rates quite high for my family, with 30 years of experience of traveling to Europe! The owner is phenomenal and warmly welcomed us when we arrived. As it was before our room was ready, we could leave our luggage at the property. Communication prior to arrival was excellent. The facilities, including our beautiful room and bathroom, are great. The breakfast room has plenty of options. The exterior courtyard was peaceful and charming. The location of the hotel is perfect, being a 1 minute walk to Chateau d'Azay-le-Rideau. The small village is serene and easy to explore during a short evening walk. We parked (2 nights) at the free spots in "Parking de La Passerelle", about 5 minutes away. There might be free overnight parking a bit closer at L'ilot d'Azay, but ask beforehand if it is free and legal. Definitely make Hotel de Biencourt your choice when in this part of France. You will not regret it!

Built in the 1830's, La Dixmeresse is located in Restigné and provides free WiFi access and free parking. It also features a private garden, terrace and a shared kitchen. Everything. Beautifully decorated large French style room , great breakfast , hosts Charles and Geraldine gave us excellent advice re things to do and see in the area and were very personable . Would have loved to stay longer .

Located an 11-minute drive from Amboise and set in a property built in the 16th century, Château de Pintray offers an landscaped garden and a furnished terrace. Two couples enjoyed a wonderful stay. The stylish room and cozy living room with its fireplace were perfect for relaxing evenings. The delicious breakfast made us feel right at home. We loved the place and highly recommend it! Anne's kindness and helpfulness made our stay even better.

Set in a 19th-Century historic mansion, La Maison Jules offers a living room with a fireplace, a garden and a terrace. Very charming and meticulously renovated guest house close to center. The host is very attentive and helpful. We had a great stay

Lovely cozy room restored and decorated in style. Easy access to Chinon and welcoming hosts Ronan & Vero. They’ve created a great little refuge with a lovely outdoor space for an apero and you can even go for a swim in their pool in summer. We loved it. Ronan was generous with his recommendations. We ate in L’oceanic in Chinon which was fabulous and went on to visit Chateaux de l’Isette which is open in summer only but we were lucky it was open for us! And the breakfast was out of this world. We will definitely come back if passing close by and recommend to anyone in the neighbourhood.

Hôtel Grand Monarque is an 18th-century post house, located at the heart of the Loire Valley in Azay-le-Rideau, 150 metres from its famous castle. It features a lounge bar. Very good location, near all attractions (walking distance). Clean room, good breakfast, very friendly staff.

This manor is located near the Château d'Amboise. It offers a large outdoor swimming pool with a terrace and sun beds. This is a wonderful property. The outdoor space is wonderful. My two chihuahuas enjoyed their freedom and I could sit under a shady tree while they romped. The manager, Gerard (English version) was amazing. So accommodating to our needs. Dinner was truly wonderful so be sure to book the outdoor experience at least one night. We had friends meet us for a second dinner and enjoyed 2 1/2 hours of tranquil surroundings and again, excellent, creative cuisine. Breakfast is very good. We got to know Charlotte during this time, who is also wonderful. The room itself is large and bed very comfortable. If you have a problem with century’s old wood floors, this could be an issue. But we were in room #4 and while ours were rickety, we couldn’t hear anyone else. We’ll be back one day. We wished we were here longer, both at the hotel and Amboise!

This 18th-century country inn is located in the centre of Chenonceaux, just 500 metres from the Castle of Chenonceau and 31 km from Beauval Zoo. Very close to the train station and the Chateau. The staff there is very kind and warmhearted. We would leave very early in the morning, which would make us miss the breakfast that is already paid. After we told this situation to the staff of the hotel, they prepared a basket full of snacks, fruit and drinks for us to take away in the morning.

The Logis Le Fleuray is an 18th-century hotel-restaurant, located in peaceful countryside. It is close to the historic towns of Amboise, Blois, Tours, and Châteaux de la Loire. Amazing restaurant, tasty food, beautiful place, I want to come back again!!!!!
