Hotel de France is housed in a former coaching inn and is located on the edge of Mende’s town centre. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Mende Cathedral. In centre of town with private parking. Very helpful staff, delicious meal and extremely comfortable and clean room.

This charming 18th-century guest house is an ideal base for visiting the medieval city of Carcassonne. It offers individually-decorated rooms and a floral garden with a pond and a shaded terrace. This is a home from home. The rooms are beautifully designed, well maintained and homely - and stocked with thoughtful additions such as local wines. On arrival we were given a map showing our location and ten restaurant recommendations which made our overnight stay really easy. You can leave your car securely parked in the grounds and walk up into the walled town in just a few minutes. We didn’t get chance to use the pool but it looked great.

Carcassonne Guesthouse is a B&B located in Carcassonne. The property is situated on the river Aude and features a shared terrace with views of the castle. The view from Patrick place was phenomenal. He is so helpful and provided us with great restaurants. Thanks to him our stay was the best.

Located in Montpellier city centre, a 5-minute walk from the old town, 1 Chambre, 1 P'tit dèj', 1 Sourire is a guest house offering free WiFi access. Montpellier - Mediterranee Airport is 12 km away. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. The apartment was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a lovely balcony. Everything was in perfect working order, and I truly enjoyed my stay. The host shared many helpful recommendations about the city, which made a big difference. They also kindly assisted with a very late check-in at night. Maison Orsini B&B is located just outside the historic city of Avignon and offers views over the Papal Palace, Avignon-Villeneuve and St André Fort. Selection of accommodation: rooms, suites, gites. We had two bedroom gite. V comfortable beds, charming, if rustic decor. Towels changed daily. Great breakfast with freshly- squeezed juice. Staff v thoughtful. Lovely terrace with in season restaurant. Amazing views of Avignon across the Rhône.
