Located in Le Croisic, right on the sea, this elegant hotel offers a gastronomic restaurant and a bistrot, free Wi-Fi and free public parking. Everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect. If I could give it higher that a "10," I gladly would. We biked the entire island, so I saw all the other hotel options. L'Ocean stands out. The location is superb - right on the ocean with breath-taking views from the room (including sunsets!). The staff is exceptional. To a person they were warm, accomodating, professional and yet fun and personable. In messaging prior to arrival, staff members were very helpful, even making dinner reservations at restaurants other than their own. We dined at the in-hotel restaurant, Le Bistrot, one night and it was delicious, and right on the water with another awesome view. Our room was lovely - large and bright with a very comfortable bed and fabulous blackout shutters for sleep. And, can I mention the view again??!! Breakfast on the balcony was delightful and so plentiful - fresh juice and fruit, baguettes and pain au chocolat, jellies and the butter..!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Located in La Baule bay, 6 km from La Baule Escoublac Train Station, Relais Thalasso Baie de La Baule offers a gourmet-style restaurant, a terrace and a garden. The staff were so accommodating and friendly , had so much time to explain, even if taking extra time was necessary due to our language barriers. Dinner options in the hotel were delicious and fabulous value, and then the breakfast...all you can eat Oysters & Champagne, need I say anymore.

Radisson BLU Hotel, Nantes is located in the city centre and just 1.3 km from the Loire River. It features a 24-hour room service. The rooms are uniquely designed with furniture by Jean-Philippe Nuel.... It is a former court house and that gives it a very unique look - in the most postive way. Very friendly staff, super clean, very close to the inner city, great parking at Decartes for a great price.

Hotel The Originals Nantes Voltaire Opéra (ex Qualys-Hotel) is located in central Nantes, 50 metres from the Théâtre Graslin and a 10-minute walk from Machines de l'île. I had a room on the top floor under the eaves- so charming! The exposed beam and the skylights were very pretty. The whole hotel was decorated with care. I found all the details to be quite thoughtful. Between the references to Voltaire and Verne, it’s quite a cultural place. Breakfast was a treat and the space was particularly inviting. I lingered there over tea and treats all three mornings. The staff was all friendly and warm, I felt cared for!
