This beautifully cared for Chateau is set in expansive grounds that are themselves a tranquil retreat. Wooded pathways meander around two ponds, a stream and paddocks. Songbirds abound and there are peacocks, swans and ducks as well. The chateau is lovely and we enjoyed the generous and delicious breakfasts. Bernard was the CONSUMMATE host. We loved our stay at this unique atmospheric property ensconced in a green oasis.

The breakfast is fantastic with lots of delicious food. We brought the group tickets for Monet Garden from the owner and this saved us lots of time to get into the Monet Garden.

Located in Honfleur, Reglisse et Pain d’Épices is 300 metres from Honfleur’s Old Harbour and 400 metres from La Forge Museum. fabulous location set back from the street. central but quiet. Delightful ground floor room with comfortable seating area and huge bed. yea and coffee facilities available and an outside area. Lovely French breakfast included. a wonderful stay. Frederic our host provided good directions re parking and tips on where to eat and what to do. Honfleur is a quaint seaside fishing village and Frederic’s home is a perfect authentic foil for your stay here

Set on a 6000 m² park, La Pluie de Roses is located in Giverny, just a 15-minute walk from the Impressionism Museum and Claude Monet’s house. Luciano is an exceptional host - we absolutely loved our stay at his beautiful house. The gardens are lovely, and our little dog enjoyed running around. The breakfast was also perfect, with a delicious omelette prepared fresh by Luciano.

Located in the centre of Bayeux, the Domaine de Bayeux is set in an 18th century house featuring a tree-lined park. This is a stunning property! We stayed in the Orchard rooms that are on the property but not in the main house. The website pictures are totally accurate and even better in person! The grounds are gorgeous! The young ladies at reception were very welcoming and helpful! The location is within walking distance of sites you would want to visit and Normandy beaches are within easy driving distance. We would stay here again and not hesitate in recommending this property!
