Free WiFi access is available throughout and there is free on site parking for guests with a vehicle. The property is impeccable. Beautiful attention to detail from the heavy hardwood doors, Grohe rain shower fixtures, embroidery on the pillowcases, homemade breakfasts and gorgeous landscaping. Our bedroom and bathroom were spacious and very clean. It looked quite new actually as everything was well-maintained. Jacqueline and Bernard were very gracious and accommodating. The room had a mini fridge eith complimentary drinks and wine. After a long day of sightseeing, we came back at nearly 10pm with pizza and Jacqueline gladly heated it for us. The location is a bit off the beaten path and at first I wondered if it might be too isolated. But after having visited busier towns like Aix, I realized that we made the right choice. Ansouis is charming, peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature. Surrounding restaurants were fairly priced. Not like the tourist traps in other more popular towns. Overall, we loved our stay and would do so again.

The property is less than 50 km from Gorges du Verdon and 20 km from Sainte-Croix Lake. What an amazing place to stay, and what gracious hosts were Frederic and Sabine! Pictures of the property are gorgeous, but they do not do it justice. It is breathtaking. There are acres and acres for long walks along with the beautiful guest house and tower. We stayed in the tower, and it was amazing. We had two separate bedrooms, and a lounge area where we could sit on a lovely leather couch or in a leather club chair and watch television or just relax. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower and the bath products were quite nice. The main house has two main rooms where guests can sit and relax. The walls of the house were built hundreds of years ago, but the furnishings and the restoration are modern, have a lovely mix of traditional and contemporary furnishings and art. There is so much to look at and so much to enjoy both inside and out. They have bikes at your disposal to ride around the property. They also have a piano and foosball in the shared space, as well as a lovely heated saltwater swimming pool. A traditional French breakfast was served on the patio, and croissants, jams and jellies, fresh squeezed orange juice, and fresh cherries from the property were amazing. The location is ideal for exploring many medieval villages, as well as Lake Saint Croix. The Côte d’Azur as well as the Verdun Gorge are easy day trips. And then there are the large lavender fields, which are all around the country roads nearby. What a peaceful, wonderful stay. We cannot wait to come back

Free private parking is available on site. Very large room with awesome kitchenette. Bed was comfortable. Staff very helpful. Washing machine was extremely useful. Wine was good. Nice terrace for relaxing and wine tasting.
