Set in the historic centre of Argelès-sur-Mer, this guest house is 2.5 km from the beach. You can visit the twice-a-week market, which surrounds the house. Impeccable. The owners and staff just completely went out of their way to be welcoming, relaxed, helpful, kind (thank you for the coffee in bed our first jet lagged morning, contrary to all the rules, and really needed that compassion). Beautiful, charming place, and good value. If you don’t speak French, it’s not a problem. Coming by train also was not a problem. The staff very kindly arrived to take our bags, and we walked the 5’ minute through the village.

Located a 2-minute drive from the centre of Argelès-sur-Mer and a 5-minute drive from the sandy beach, Le Cottage - Hotel & Spa features a swimming pool and a view of the Pyrénées Mountains. The rooms are lovely with a balcony overlooking the garden. It's a really nice small friendly hotel. The staff are very helpful. Air-conditioning in the room is a bonus.

The Madeloc Hôtel & Spa is 500 meters from Collioure city center and a 10-minute walk from the beach. A beautiful hotel, well located, nice room and a really good breakfast, with very helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Kyriad Perpignan Sud is 5 km from both the centre of Perpignan and exit 42 on the A9 motorway, which leads to Spain. Very friendly and helpful stuff

Kyriad Prestige Perpignan Centre Gare is located in the heart of Perpignan, a 10-minute walk from the city’s historic centre. Very cheap very clean very central and nice big comfy bed

Set in 1.5 hectares of parkland in Perpignan, Villa Duflot is just 25 minutes’ drive from the Mediterranean Sea. It features an outdoor swimming pool, a Nuxe Spa and a bistronomic restaurant. Even though it is outside the city center, it is a very nice place to stay, relax and pass a great time. The room was big, with a nice terrace in a private garden. Excellent restaurant and bar. Suitable for all year long relaxation.

The hotel has no private parking, but a few free spaces are available in front of the establishment, and several parking lots in the town of Collioure are close to the hotel. Our room was lovely, breakfast was adequate, good selection.
