From the minute you turn up the long driveway and arrive at the stunning location, with the beautiful cottages overlooking a field full of sheep and with the stunning Snowdonia mountains as the backdrop. You know you have arrived at Gwyllt Cottages. Away from the rat-race, work and all the day to day stresses... The hosts are lovely people and once inside the beautiful and thoughtfully decorated cottages there are local delights awaiting... locally backed fresh loaf, jam, butter, milk and welsh cakes. A little goodie basket made up for the dogs for an extra £5.00 make it just a treat for all. The cottages are immaculate. Comfy beds, everything you could want, a study, washing machine, log fire to add to the holiday feeling! Although cottages are centrally heated and very toastie! With pregnant ponies in the field and lovely mown lawns and patios to sit out and enjoy a coffee or Baileys... we have arrived in a little bit of heaven!

This highly commended hotel in Amlwch, Anglesey has a restaurant with a fine reputation for serving only the freshest of ingredients. This is the second time we stay here. The pub serves great food. We had to wake up very early to catch the ferry from Holyhead, and they were very kind to give us a packed breakfast so we could take with us. They're very dog friendly, they greeted our dog with a bag of treats and a ball which she loved. The rooms are very comfortable. The area is super quiet and relaxing.

Dating back to the 15th century, The Bull and Townhouse, Beaumaris- The Inn Collection Group is Grade II listed, with a traditional bar and a stylish restaurant. Everything here was lovely, we were exhausted arriving after a many-hours delayed international flight and diverted trains with a young child, and the hostess greeted us with a warm welcome, made sure we got a dinner order in before the restaurant closed, and showed us to our room. Good food, clean place, nice staff. Overall very good experience.

Situated in Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey, The Bulkeley Hotel lies within 300 metres from the Beaumaris Castle and the beach and pier alongside the Menai Straits. Beautiful period building. Great location in the town. Restaurant was excellent. We ate there both nights. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We left a suitcase behind and they helped us arrange to send it to our home by courier.

Just a few metres from an award-winning Blue Flag beach, the Trearddur Bay Hotel boasts an on-site restaurant and bar and bright, elegant rooms with free WiFi. The view of the sea, early in the morning, sitting in the window was incredible. So relaxing, area was quiet, room was spacious, breakfast was lovely. Fresh flowers in the room were a nice touch. Plus the made the bed is made every day and gave fresh towels every day, in the spirit of sustainability, I haven’t seen that in a hotel in quite a while.

Located in Beaumaris on Anglesey Island, just by Beaumaris Castle, Castle Court is a guest house with bar, terrace facing the castle and shared lounge with TV. Fabulous value for money in a wonderful location. Room and bathroom was spotless and Beaumaris exceeded all expectations. We will definitely be back to Castle Court Hotel for a perfect, very reasonably priced and comfortable stay. Thank you!

With a private beach and panoramic views over the Menai Straits, Château Rhianfa is set in a Grade II listed Victorian villa. A tennis court, We also have a wine cellar with wine tasting experiences. The location and Chateaux is beautiful. Breath taking views. Wonderful staff.

In Trearddur Bay, on the stunning coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the Seacroft is a pub restaurant with rooms, offering free Wi-Fi, superb locally sourced food and a cosy traditional bar. We liked everything. I've written separately in more detail.

The owner of the hotel and the sous chef made a delicious top notch dinner, and we were so happy with our meal. The dinning room is very attractive and old school. Our room was nice and had a large bathroom which was great. We had a small window as it was on the top floor, but other than that we were pleased. The staff was very nice. Also the hotel is very convenient to the center of town, the water and an enjoyable walk up and down the boardwalk , and a fantastic nearby bakery just behind the hotel.
