Beaches is a small family-run guest house featuring a large private garden with gated access to Ayr’s sandy beach. It's set just 5 minutes’ walk from Ayr’s centre with its shopping, dining, and nightlife. We liked the warm welcome from the owner Jan. She was amazing and friendly and there were nice touches added like her home baked shortbread cookies in the room. The breakfast was amazing the options were endless. The room we stayed in was great very comfortable and great views of the beach. Location was great for the recommended restaurants for dinner. We would definitely recommend Beaches.

The spacious rooms are elegantly decorated, and each has a luxury bathroom with fluffy robes and free toiletries. All rooms have a flat-screen TV, and some have scenic views of Goat Fell. friendly staff and beautifully appointed. really couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay.

Set in a grand Victorian house, the elegant bedrooms at Braidmead are individually decorated and each has a private bathroom. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities and a cosy seating area. Breakfast was excellent. The room was stunning, the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

There are even MP3 connectors and dedicated speakers in the en suite bathrooms. myself and my mum had a fantastic time dinner was lovely and so was the room will definitely come back

Set 1.3 km from Ayr Beach, 2.4 km from Ayr Racecourse and 15 km from Royal Troon Golf Club, Inverlea Guest House offers accommodation situated in Ayr. This 3-star guest house offers luggage storage space. There is a children's playground and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. I only stayed for a night in Inverlea Guest House as I had to catch an early bus from Ayr the next day - if I hadn‘t already booked it, I would have stayed longer! Everything was perfect, down to the tiniest detail: the beautiful and incredibly quiet house, the extremely high quality bed and infrastructure, the lovely breakfast. But most of all, the hosts Liz and Douglas, who made me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped into the guest house. Even tho Ayr wasn‘t really on my radar of „must-visits“ in Scotland, I will probably come back just because I want to spend some more time at Inverlea!

Belvedere is situated just a short walk from the ferry terminal, along a street with fabulous views over Goatfell and the bay below. My room was convenient, had a thick cosy carpet and a warm duvet. Breakfast was excellent! The host Allan was very helpful and gave good information.

Guests can enjoy sea views of the Holy Isle from this property. The staff (Jeanette) greeted us like old friends.We spent a little over two weeks here house hunting...met new friends from all over the world... Returning in August to finalize our house hunt... Can't say enough about the staff and owners making is feel welcome as Americans moving to Scotland. Ten out of Ten!!!

Beautiful hotel, staff were lovely, bed super comfortable, room spacious breakfast magnificent. Value for money. The gardens were just beautiful.
