Beaches is a small family-run guest house featuring a large private garden with gated access to Ayr’s sandy beach. Love everything about Beaches!! Absolutely spotless, beautiful, comfortable, the breakfast and home made shortbread and jam!! And the owner Jan and her family and dog Harris! We stayed in the twin room with kitchen and it was fantastic. The gardens are beautiful too!

A wonderful hotel with exceptional staff who will go out of their way to help you with anything. Loved staying here..Breakfasts were great as was the evening meals.

Opposite the Royal Troon golf course, Piersland House offers both modern and traditional rooms with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. There is free private parking. We stayed in a Mews; they are well conceived for a couple. Delicious breakfast and setting. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Helpful staff.

Parking was easy outside, and it's handy to town for restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, and the room was immaculate, but the highlight were the hosts, who were chatty, welcoming, and professional all at once. And the little touches in the room were fantastic, such as plenty of milk for tea (why do so many places only give you enough for one cup?), and even a welcome card. Couldn't fault a single thing!

Situated in Lamlash on the Isle of Arran, The Arran Lodge & Arran Sleep Huts sits at the top of a private wooded drive. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. The staff (Jeanette) greeted us like old friends.We spent a little over two weeks here house hunting...met new friends from all over the world... Returning in August to finalize our house hunt... Can't say enough about the staff and owners making is feel welcome as Americans moving to Scotland. Ten out of Ten!!!
