The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Dating back to the 14th-century, this property offers an award-winning restaurant, locally brewed ales and free parking. Our 10/10 stay at this place started the night we arrived. After a somewhat harrowing drive in the dark/rain/fog down a tiny road we were exhausted. The lovely man (Dan who it turns out was just filling in but did a bang up job) at the check in just took us straight to our (out of this world) room and said "Check in in the morning, no problem" and handed us a pot of cream (... this is for your coffee/tea). The room itself was huge and gorgeous with a full sitting room area, mini kitchen and a giant king sized bed that was so comfortable I would still be there if I could. The bathroom had a great shower and a giant bath tub. We stumbled across to the pub and (although it was past kitchen closing) the chef made us a lovely salmon dinner. Things just got better from there - gorgeous full breakfasts, lovely dinners, kind and caring staff EVERYWHERE. The town is tiny but stunning with plenty of interesting historical buildings and great hikes both around the area and over to the next town (charmingly called Beer). Thank you to Dan, Sophie, Connor and Hannah for making our stay so incredibly special.

Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks can both be reached in less than an hour’s drive. The property also has more than 8 acres of landscaped grounds for guests to enjoy. Situated in the town of Dartmouth, The Dartmouth Boutique B&B is less than a mile from the banks of the River Dart. Nestled within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it offers free Wi-Fi, free on-site parking and a restaurant. Absolutely beautiful-- beautifully appointed, incredible view. Extremely clean and comfortable. The staff (owners?) were very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend this place!

Less than 30 minutes’ drive from Exeter city centre, New Inn in Coleford provides luxurious rooms and high-quality dining. With free Wi-Fi and parking, this Devon inn serves a range of West Country cask ales and local specialities. Nice room, nice breakfast. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Situated in the small town of Lynton, by the estuary of West Lyn River and next to the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway, Seawood House Boutique Hotel boasts elegant rooms with sea view, free Wi-Fi, an outdoor seating area with panoramic views, and free parking. The views are amazing, the property was just perfect and there is a footpath leading up to the town. The employee who was there on our stay took hospitality to the next level. He was attentive and so kind. Our remote didn’t work for the tv and I kept forgetting to tell him and we came back to our room done up and the remote already changed. The breakfast menu was amazing and so good!

Everything from the communication to the warm welcome, the room, and especially the breakfast was flawless. We truly regretted staying only one night and we definitely have to come back. The owners are extremely kind and genuine hosts.

The property was well maintained and the breakfasts were lively. They had GF bread, without having prior notice. good views and convenient walk to everything
