Although it is quite far from the center of Cambridge, not to worry. There is a park and ride just a few miles away which is a much better alternative to driving into the city center congestion.

We came across The Morecambe Hotel by chance. And it is wonderful. At first glance, it is a simple building, but inside it is so cozy, harmonious and beautiful - both the restaurant and the rooms. This place definitely had an incredibly talented Designer who felt colors and textures at the highest level. Textiles, wood, furniture, expensive high-quality plumbing... Perfect, harmonious, everything in moderation. Selected paintings and ornaments. You won't feel this in words until you try it yourself. Very clean all, restaurant and room. Comfortable beds with high-quality natural textiles, a calm, quiet street, I finally really got a good night's sleep. An open courtyard with access only from the restaurant with tables and a playground is just a luxury, and parents can relax and children have a place to have fun. The Chef. Really delicious dishes and very refined presentation. The breakfast, of course, simply won us over, it was a surprise for us. Breakfast is included in the room rate and each dish is prepared by the chef to the choice of each guest, this is in addition to the buffet style. And of course, this place is made by hardworking people - honestly, I have never met so much care, kindness, peace, openness and simple humanity as here. This place deserves to be marked with all the awards many, many more times. Prosperity to you all and your guests! Thank you all very much for made my break amazing and come back me to life! Very easy to find adjacent to a large covered car park (reduced rates for Pullman users). Check in fast and efficient. Stunning corner room with panoramic views across the Mersey. Room temperature controls that were easy to use and worked. More of a deluge than a shower with controls on the outside so setting the temperature without getting wet. Nespresso coffee gadget Large comfortable bed not requiring mountaineering gear to get onto. Interesting dinner menu would allow choice over a number of days

Set on York’s Clifton Road, Burton Stone Inn offers free WiFi access and 1 guaranteed parking space per room for all guests. Very nice and clean room, charming accommodation, close to the centre, lovely host

The Lighthouse is a beautiful listed property offering 4-star accommodation near Frome, within the gently rolling Somerset countryside. The Building itself is beautiful, very nice flowerbeds. The staff was lovely and the breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our stay and would come again if we travel in this region.

Located just a few metres from the River Thames, Staybridge Suites London Vauxhall is a contemporary, design-led hotel. Free WiFi is accessible throughout. Friendly and helpful staff - they were very cooperative when we complained about the room temperature. Good location - 6 mins walk from the metro and 15 mins walk to Big Ben.

We were thoroughly delighted with every aspect. The hotel boasts a beautifully clean design, seamlessly blending modernity with a cozy atmosphere. The staff were not only helpful and friendly but also attentive to our child's needs.

Hotel Football, Old Trafford, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is located opposite Old Trafford Football Stadium and close to Media City and Manchester City Centre. Free WiFi access is available. I spent 5 nights at the hotel recently. If you are a football fan, you will love staying here. The place is just beside Manchester United's old Trafford stadium and not far from the Cricket stadium as well. While it is a bit far from the central areas of the city, there was a few bus stops and a tram station nearby, so you can get to the city (or to Trafford City shopping mall) in 15-20 mins. You can choose between rooms with City view or Stadium view. I chose the city view, as I love the surroundings, lots of green spaces, nice areas by the canal and some nice structures (buildings, bridges) nearby. The room was beautiful and spacious with a large bed that was comfortable. There is also a small refrigerator with free drinks, yogurt and chocolates (they refill every day). The bathroom was nice and big. I had breakfast at the hotel everyday and it was good. There are a few items in the buffet and you can order one item from the breakfast menu alongside them. Overall, my stay was very pleasant and I would love to go back again.

Situated in the heart of Surrey, The Lodge @ Kingswood offers hotel accommodation within the grounds of a championship golf course. Fantastic location for my onward journey. Quiet and really comfortable.
