Dine at the Grill in Dakota Glasgow and feast your eyes on quality, seasonally-inspired produce, a great balance of flavours and pristine presentation. Dakota’s signature impeccable service and stylish interior sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience at one of the best restaurants in Glasgow. Famous for our steaks, we source our prime cuts from naturally-reared Scotch cattle, before we lightly season and grill to perfection over hot coals. Contemporary twists on seafood classics keeps your tongue tingling, including our famed aromatic monkfish curry. Staff very attentive and helpful. Location is great. Cleanness. The award-winning restaurant offers an à la carte menu based around ‘farm assured’ produce. The menus change through the seasons and offer fresh local Scottish produce. We feature a selection of hand-selected wines, craft-brewed Scottish beers and cider and bespoke gins from all over Scotland. We stayed in the standard double room and the bed was massive, easily a king sized bed. The room was spacious and clean and staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is only about a 15 minute walk away from the city centre. It's not a huge hotel but that's actually a positive in my opinion, gives it a more personable experience.

Within a tree-lined Victorian terrace, this 5-star boutique hotel is located in the fashionable West End, only 30 minutes' drive from Loch Lomond. Its oak-panelled bistro serves fresh, Scottish cuisine and over 300 wines. We had a great stay -- the hotel is rather unique in that it's actually several townhouses that are connected and then redone as rooms. Our room was delightfully decorated fitting of the boutique hotel status, with a huge bathroom and large, comfortable bed. The hotel staff were communicative and helpful, both before our stay, messaging over booking.com, at reception, and while there. We were celebrating a special occasion, and had a nice surprise welcoming us in the room, which we appreciated. We also ordered room service from the restaurant (always a nice treat at hotels that offer it) and this hit the spot -- there was good variety, the food was high quality, and the ambiance and experience quickly made us feel at home. Lastly, it was our first time in Glasgow and as travelers without a car, we weren't quite sure where to stay. This spot worked out quite well -- the area is nice, and the university area (around Byres road), with more shops and cafes and such, is just a 10 minute walk, or a shorter bus ride. The bus stop is also right outside and very convenient, and that or the train provide quick transit access through the city. Overall, this worked out very well for us -- we had comfortable accommodations, tasty food, and great service. Would recommend to others.

Set 44 km from Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Station House Lanark Bed and Breakfast offers 4-star accommodation in Lanark and has a garden. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the bed and breakfast free of charge. The bed and breakfast features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. Was made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived and appreciated the time Alan took with us as we checked in being very informative about the property and the surrounding area. B&B has many different types of rooms/lodges and all have been done to a very high spec and the room we stayed in was immaculately clean and had everything we needed with many nice homely touches. Was greeted by both Alan and Avril for breakfast where i thoroughly enjoyed my full Scottish breakfast and again was very well looked after by both.

The bright apartments each have a spacious living area with sofas and a flat-screen TV/DVD player. The separate bedrooms have luxury linens, and all apartments have a modern bathroom.

The stylish fitted kitchens feature an oven, microwave and refrigerator, and kitchenware is provided. Laundry and ironing facilities are available, and there is also a dining area. I've booked with these property owners before and they are wonderful. They met us at check in time and the rooms were cozy and nice. A great location in Merchant City near to everything.
