The design and decor - there were real candle lit in the foyer and Jacks and the restaurant which gave it a great feel The staff - The front desk staff were super friendly The food was incredible and the Jacks Bar staff and cocktails were exceptional! Bed was super comfortable and the room decor was very stylish

With a central Glasgow location, The Pipers’ Tryst Hotel is a unique 4-star restaurant with rooms located at The National Piping Centre - the home of Scottish Bagpiping. We stayed in the standard double room and the bed was massive, easily a king sized bed. The room was spacious and clean and staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is only about a 15 minute walk away from the city centre. It's not a huge hotel but that's actually a positive in my opinion, gives it a more personable experience.

We had a great stay -- the hotel is rather unique in that it's actually several townhouses that are connected and then redone as rooms. Our room was delightfully decorated fitting of the boutique hotel status, with a huge bathroom and large, comfortable bed. The hotel staff were communicative and helpful, both before our stay, messaging over booking.com, at reception, and while there. We were celebrating a special occasion, and had a nice surprise welcoming us in the room, which we appreciated. We also ordered room service from the restaurant (always a nice treat at hotels that offer it) and this hit the spot -- there was good variety, the food was high quality, and the ambiance and experience quickly made us feel at home. Lastly, it was our first time in Glasgow and as travelers without a car, we weren't quite sure where to stay. This spot worked out quite well -- the area is nice, and the university area (around Byres road), with more shops and cafes and such, is just a 10 minute walk, or a shorter bus ride. The bus stop is also right outside and very convenient, and that or the train provide quick transit access through the city. Overall, this worked out very well for us -- we had comfortable accommodations, tasty food, and great service. Would recommend to others.

Thoughtfully & tastefully planned, comforts of home. The room was well appointed with all the amenities we needed. The bathroom was large & well designed with modern fittings. Alan, the owner & host gave us very warm welcome, shared much about Scotland’s history. He was very hospitable & attentive. Breakfast was sumptuous and personally cooked by Allan himself. Will certainly visit the property again should we visit Scotland in the future.

There were so many things I loved about this guesthouse - great location - helpful and kind staff - delicious breakfast - comfortable, clean room - comfy bed and pillows - private bathroom - homely feel, with nice decor Wish I could've stayed longer

In the heart of Glasgow, Glasgow City Flats offers modern accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Some apartments have balconies and city views, and Glasgow Central Station is within a 10-minute walk. I've booked with these property owners before and they are wonderful. They met us at check in time and the rooms were cozy and nice. A great location in Merchant City near to everything.

Located near the SECC, SSE Hydro Arena and Clyde Auditorium, Village Hotel Glasgow offers car parking. The staff there were awesome Leanne gave us some great tips about where to head out and the breakfast was elite to. Thanks for having us if we’re ever back in Glasgow we’ll be back.
