Welcome to Cardhu Country House which sits in the very heart of the Malt Whisky Trail. We had the pleasure of spending a night at Cardhu Country House and the experience was excellent. The hotel is set in an idyllic location, surrounded by nature – a perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms are beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. Cleanliness was impeccable, which is always a key point for us. The hosts were absolutely lovely – friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. We would definitely recommend Cardhu Country House to anyone looking for a peaceful, high-quality getaway.

This former church has been tastefully converted, enabling retention of the original features. Auld Kirk B&B is situated in the heart of picturesque Royal Deeside. Comfortable, well-appointed room which was quiet despite being adjacent to the main road into the town. The owners and their staff know their business very well, and work hard to present a very high standard (e.g., great breakfasts!). The building is a converted church, and retains some characterful features from its previous use. Location is a short walk to the bars and restaurants in the town.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and took great care of us. The room was huge, clean and quiet, and even came with a fridge. The bathroom was super spacious and functional. Breakfast was simply amazing and we dined at the pub in the evening too, which was also delicious! This was definitely the best accommodation we had on our 11 day trip to Scotland!
