Upstairs the kitchen area provided even more offerings for breakfast and a lovely dining room and sitting room. Our host was readily available and helpful as well. Above all it is the location that feels like a step back in time to quieter and more peaceful times that creates a serene stay at this wonderful establishment.

On the banks of the River Dee, The Boat Inn in Aboyne offers accommodation, a cosy bar and restaurant. Everything! Absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend a stay. The staff team at The Boat are so kind and welcoming. Food is absolutely delicious! Rooms and all decor throughout The Boat is gorgeous.

Welcome to Cardhu Country House which sits in the very heart of the Malt Whisky Trail. We stayed in this lovely bed and breakfast right in a valley full of distilleries, walks and great stuff to do. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. When we had to leave early, they gave us fruits, baked goods, and water for the road – such a beautiful touch! They also told us about a great restaurant close by, which was a top pick. The bed was super big and comfy, and our night was perfect. Highly, highly recommend this place!

Set high above the village of Charlestown of Aberlour and overlooking the River Spey, this elegant country hotel is an ideal venue for shooting and fishing, and for whisky-lovers. We had stayed in this hotel 5 years previously and we were so happy to return. Hotel was just as beautiful as we remembered, staff as lovely and the food just as wonderful. Can not recommend enough!

The Chester Hotel is a listed building dating from the 19th century, combining original design with striking, contemporary features. I travel for work often and this was one of the best stays ever. Breakfast was excellent, scrambled eggs are a terrible affair in any hotel, but theirs were amazing
