Upstairs the kitchen area provided even more offerings for breakfast and a lovely dining room and sitting room. Our host was readily available and helpful as well. Above all it is the location that feels like a step back in time to quieter and more peaceful times that creates a serene stay at this wonderful establishment.

On the banks of the River Dee, The Boat Inn in Aboyne offers accommodation, a cosy bar and restaurant. The Boat Inn is somewhere in the middle of everything, if you follow the Deeside. We loved our room, big enough for two beds, which were bigger than singles. So rare anywhere in Scotland! Breakfast in the morning was ordered á la carte and fantastic, same goes for the evening meal. We stayed for dinner both nights at the restaurant of the Boat Inn. Personally I thought The Boat Inn was the best accommodation on our one week tour. Can't recommend it enough!

Welcome to Cardhu Country House which sits in the very heart of the Malt Whisky Trail. We loved our stay at peacefull and beautiful location, owners were really friendly and helpful. We only regret not having more time to spend here in charming lobby with fireplace.

This former church has been tastefully converted, enabling retention of the original features. Auld Kirk B&B is situated in the heart of picturesque Royal Deeside. Absolutely loved this accommodation and the host Helen and her employee Lisa! Enjoyed chatting with them about our day and having a good laugh. And the breakfast was the best we have every had! Kept us going all day! Highly recommend this property! If I am ever in the area again I will definitley stay here!

Set high above the village of Charlestown of Aberlour and overlooking the River Spey, this elegant country hotel is an ideal venue for shooting and fishing, and for whisky-lovers. The room was very well decorated with everything we needed. Very good taste and attention to details. The staff served us promptly and friendly.

With a 24-hour restaurant serving à la carte food, and continental or Full English breakfast in the morning, the ibis Aberdeen Centre – Quayside is situated in central Aberdeen. Staff was A+. Location is very central. Rooms were spacious.

The Chester Hotel is a listed building dating from the 19th century, combining original design with striking, contemporary features. I travel for work often and this was one of the best stays ever. Breakfast was excellent, scrambled eggs are a terrible affair in any hotel, but theirs were amazing
