This former coaching inn is set on the edge of Brecon Beacons, in the historic market town of Abergavenny. The Angel Hotel offers a restaurant, bar, and free Wi-Fi. I loved the vibe in this hotel. Very characteristic but also modern comforts. Lots of activity in the bars and restaurants. Very lively. Beautiful spacious room. Friendly people. I loved the restaurant. We had the best meal of our trip to Wales here. Breakfast was outstanding. Great table service, drink top ups. Loved the hospitality. The town is lovely as well. Parking lot behind the hotel.

The Priory is nestled within the historic town of Caerleon on the River Usk. Dating back to 1180, this hotel was originally a Cistercian monastery. We were returning from a weeks holiday in south Cornwall en route to the Pembroke car ferry. It was a long, arduous drive in the rain and decided to stop somewhere overnight. I knew at first sight that we'd chosen the right place. It was delightful! An old priory full of history, charm artifacts, comfort and to top it all amazing food in a restaurant full of ambience.

This historic country inn has delicious food and luxury rooms. It is within a few km of the famous Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup. The Old Barn Inn dates back to the early 1750s. I can't fault this place! A beautiful, comfortable room with a super ceiling fan to keep it nice & cool. Had a delicious evening meal, served by very pleasant staff. Overall, a lovely place, can't fault it.

The comfortable and functional ibis budget Newport is located just off the M4 junction 26, 5 minutes’ drive to the centre of Newport. Brilliant price, lovely staff. Fab little room was clean and comfy and had everything we needed. Happy to stay here again.
