The rooms at the Cuillin Hills Hotel have warm, modern décor while never losing the traditional feel. Every room has fresh fruit, mineral water, tea/coffee facilities and smart TV's with BT sport, satellite TV and Chromecast. The view could never be bettered as amazing view of the harbour in Portree and all the mountains etc. proximity to Portree excellent if you don’t have a vehicle. Little beach at the bottom of a lane. Food top notch. Service beyond great. Check in very professional and friendly. We have been to this hotel numerous times over the past 24 years. Wonderful. Lots to do on Skye. Book ahead as very busy.

On the Isle of Skye’s spectacular north west coast, The Tables Guest House in Dunvegan offers stylishly appointed rooms and a full breakfast menu. In an elevated position enjoying beautiful loch views, The Tables provides free parking and Wi-Fi. This was the most amazing B&B! Everything was so thoughtful, from the homemade cookies at the counter, to Mr Stuart walking us to our room, making sure we knew everything including how to use the Wi-Fi and shower, to the homemade breakfast in the morning it was just perfect. There was even a sewing kit in the room, a rag provided to wipe off dirty boots, and wine glasses to use in the sitting area downstairs. Parking was across the street and always had a spot available for us. The best place to stay in isle of skye.

Situated on the picturesque Isle of Raasay, a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal, Raasay House Hotel is nestled in a Georgian mansion with beautifully landscaped lawns. Boasting views across the Sound of Raasay to the Cuillin Mountains of Skye, the mansion offers luxury accommodation with free Wi-Fi, free parking, a bar, a café, and a restaurant. The room was big, with an amazing view. The game room and library are great. The garden is also very nice.

A wide choice of freshly prepared dishes are served in the Dulse & Brose restaurant, including daily catches of seafood and shellfish, which come straight from the waters of the Minch to the plate within a matter of hours. Malt whiskies and fresh coffees can be enjoyed by the real fire in the stylish Merchant bar. Stunning location, lovely staff, outstanding food. The building is on the older side with some slightly worn doors etc. but this really just adds to the charm

In a picturesque bay in the south of Skye, this hotel has beautiful views over the Sound of Sleat and the distant hills of Knoydart. It is also home to the headquarters of the award-winning Gaelic Whisky company. The staff were very pleasant. The dear lady who checked us in(unfortunately forgot her name) was so pleasant. The place had no mobile network and that feeling of being cut off was great especially coming from a busy and bustling city like London. Everyone at the hotel were informal and the people around seemed warm and felt like a big family. I highly recommend to stay here for a day or two when on a trip to the Isle of Skye.

The individually designed bedrooms have original character and contemporary furnishings. All rooms have a private bathroom and stylish decor, and each features a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. Such a beautiful cosy hotel in the middle of nowhere. Very smooth check in, comfortable beds and bathrooms had all the necessities. Due to the hotel not offering dinner on the location, they offered us to book a dinner at their sister hotel - Duisdale hotel. We accepted as we knew that the hotel is in a remote area with not much around, and we’re so glad we did! The driver came to pick us up from our hotel to take us there. The food was amazing, service was very very good, and we felt bad that we were only dining there just once. Driver took us back to our hotel as soon as we finished eating. We had breakfast at Toravaig the next day, and this didn’t disappoint either, we had the most delicious breakfast.
