With a conservatory breakfast room and a terraced garden, it is a 10-minute drive from Newport.... My room on the 3rd floor had everything that I needed. The hostess, Paula was first-rate, providing her special touch and treats here and there. Breakfast was excellent and I had the best sleeps since arriving in England 3 weeks ago.

Set in attractive gardens, The Havelock offers a Mediterranean-style pool and en suite rooms, some have a sea view. There is some free private parking, and the seafront is close by. Excellent location and the owners and staff were really helpful and friendly. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

We had a really nice stay and would come back any time. Great hosts, nice breakfast and a great location close by the beach and a couple of stores and restaurants. Easy to reach by train as well.
