Upon arrival we were welcomed by Avril and Alan who were very friendly and showed us to our room and took our breakfast order for the next day. Beds were comfortable with a good amount of pillows and beautiful clean bedding. Shower room was clean and well stocked with towels, shower gel and shampoo there was also shower caps and some bathroom disposal items (cotton pads etc) available if needed. The room we stayed in was lovely and big could fit 4-6 people depending on ages of children.Would definitely recommend and would return and stay again if I was visiting the area for an overnight again. Breakfast was delicious and pre ordered. Good selection of non cooked items also with fresh fruit available. Ample parking for the size of the accommodation in a very lovely rural spot.

On the banks of the loch in the grounds of the idyllic Strathclyde Country Park, Alona Hotel has a laidback atmosphere and a lovely restaurant. Our room was changed to move us away from a noisy wedding reception that was scheduled for that night. Also, when our TV wouldn't work properly, it was replaced immediately with a new one. Sitting proudly in a wonderful elevated location, the B/W Motherwell Centre Moorings Hotel is situated in an area of natural beauty, close to a picturesque country park. Great location for easy access to motorway and Motherwell town. Shower was amazing, excellent water pressure. Cleanliness to be complimented also. Food in restaurant was delicious.

There is nothing not to like, the premises was easily found with good parking facilities and the welcome from manageress and team was exceptional and was refreshing to have positive friendly faces despite being busy with an excellent restaurant. The booking in was efficient and informative, and the room was extremely well furnished with excellent décor throughout and was very comfortable. Also it has easy access to Wi-Fi and good facilities for drinks in the room and bathroom to freshen up after a journey. Comfortable bed with fresh-smelling linen that was both welcoming and comforting. The food is outstanding, and my breakfast was the best I have had in months. hats off to the team and chef - I will be returning at my first opportunity

Radstone Hotel is nestled in extensive grounds overlooking the scenic Clyde Valley, 2 minutes by car from the M74 and 24 minutes’ drive from Glasgow. Everything - location was great as a stepping stone to journey to the Highlands. Bar area was spacious, staff helpful and breakfast was good. We were delighted that on arrival we were upgraded to a suite. The room was great and had a jacuzzi bath.
