Epic little pub in a lovely area, definitely worth the small detour. A great spot to spend the night to break up the journey. This was hands down the best accommodation experience we've had in the UK so far.

The accommodation offers full-day security, and luggage storage for guests. Everything was very good but A comfy chair in the room would be the icing on the cake - plenty of room even with shaped roof. Breakfast was excellent. Made to feel welcome.

Hosts were wonderful - even offering to go out and pick up dinner for us when they learned we were arriving late due to train delays. Many choices available for breakfast with optional times to partake. Great location for access to all parts of the town, including the train station. Comfortable room.

Among the facilities at this property are a housekeeping service and bicycle parking, along with free WiFi throughout the property. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. We had a wonderful three night stay. The room was lovely, quiet and spacious with a very comfortable bed. We had a delicious breakfast - a lot of homemade items such as granola and lots of choice. Amanda and Steve were the perfect hosts. So friendly and helpful. Truly a 5 star experience!
