Located in the picturesque village of Hathersage, 10 miles from Sheffield, The George offers free WiFi. The hotels garden terrace was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for the train station. The breakfast was 11/10, nicely cooked, and kept me going through to dinner in the evening.

Ellen House Bed and Breakfast is located on the outskirts of Matlock, Derbyshire. There is free parking and free Wi-Fi access in all areas. Ellen House has a lot to offer - very friendly and knowledgeable hosts, spotlessly clean rooms and common areas, parking (which is very hard to find in Matlock), a very convenient location - a short walk from everything and generally just a lovely place to stay. The breakfast was freshly prepared to order and delicious. Homemade preserves with breakfast were a special treat as were the home made flapjacks (YUM) in our room each day. Ellen House is also very close to the train station if that is how you travel.

I've always wanted to stop on a boat and decided to book this for my Husband's birthday. It is ideally located in Sheffield city centre. It's a short walk from the train station and the main shopping area. The owner sent very clear instructions on how to get here .The boat was very clean and comfortable. The heaters were on when we arrived so it was lovely and cozy and there are blankets to get snuggled on the sofa. The bed was really comfortable. We got woken up by the ducks the next morning. It was just a lovely place to stay

Beautiful hotel and location. Cozy rooms with all the amenities. A beautiful deep porcelain tub to soak after a long day. Food in the restaurant was wonderful. You didn’t leave hungry ! Staff was amazing and attentive. Took our luggage to our room and personally checked us in and made sure we were comfortable. Beautiful gardens. Perfect for a getaway or special occasion. We were traveling and found it a relaxing break on our road trip.
