I've always wanted to stop on a boat and decided to book this for my Husband's birthday. It is ideally located in Sheffield city centre. It's a short walk from the train station and the main shopping area. The owner sent very clear instructions on how to get here .The boat was very clean and comfortable. The heaters were on when we arrived so it was lovely and cozy and there are blankets to get snuggled on the sofa. The bed was really comfortable. We got woken up by the ducks the next morning. It was just a lovely place to stay

Converted from an old guardhouse, Garrison Hotel combines historical atmosphere with modern facilities. There is free WiFi, and a restaurant serving homemade food. Sheffield city centre is a 10-minute drive away. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean, comfortable and pleasantly cool. Breakfast, especially the coffee service, was excellent. Staff were pleasant and efficient.

Ticked all the boxes for me, nice clean room with a large comfy bed. Great shower! Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. All that at a really good price
