The Crown has a mixture of traditional and modern bedrooms, including the four-poster suite that featured in the film ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’. Wow! What a fabulous hotel to stay in! Staff absolutely brilliant and cannot be more helpful and friendly. Room was perfect in every way. You have to stay here!

Great vegan breakfast with hash browns, avocado, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and sour dough toast. Our family room was lovely and it was split-level so we all felt we had our own space. The staff were all great. We had dinner one night too and there was a whole vegan menu. Would most definitely stay again.

Grown Alchemist toiletries and bathrobes are included. Other features include free Wi-Fi, coffee machine, a flat-screen TV and touch-activated mood lighting. Loved the decor, very extravagant and comfortable too

The Olde Bell, BW Signature Collection is a modernised 3-star coaching inn providing Ilse Crawford designed restful rooms with a rustic elegance. Some parts date back as far as 1135 and it has kept some of its original design features. The only suggestion I would have is to allow the opportunity to dine in one of the more original old areas.

The Pennyfarthing is an independent hotel in the centre of Berkhamsted, just 6 minutes’ walk from Berkhamsted Railway Station. Free Wi-Fi and limited private parking available (additional fees applicable). it's very central. perfect parking. can walk everywhere. lovely place.
