Very welcoming staff at the reception and breakfast, a clean room, in a central location of the university area of Belfast (many restaurants, cinema, museum) and only a 15 min walk to the center. With an unbeatable location right in the centre of the city, this hotel is one of the first choices for travellers. It is situated in 5-7 minutes walking distance from the bus station and City Hall, and 10 minutes taxi drive to the Lanyon Place train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a little misunderstanding about the exact type of the room booked, and the issue has been solved in the most professional way. Our Signature View King room was relatively spacious, and offered the promised view over the city skyline. It was handy to have a couple of bottles of complimentary water and a Nespresso machine with tabs supply. The bed deserves an extra mention - it was extremely comfortable.

The Grade B1-listed Bishop’s Gate Hotel is positioned within the historic city walls of Derry City’s Cathedral Quarter. Location is fantastic but the staff here make the place … they are just lovely, so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
