On Great Victoria Street, beside the Grand Opera House, the luxury Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast offers boutique bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. There is a chic restaurant and modern cocktail bar. With an unbeatable location right in the centre of the city, this hotel is one of the first choices for travellers. It is situated in 5-7 minutes walking distance from the bus station and City Hall, and 10 minutes taxi drive to the Lanyon Place train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a little misunderstanding about the exact type of the room booked, and the issue has been solved in the most professional way. Our Signature View King room was relatively spacious, and offered the promised view over the city skyline. It was handy to have a couple of bottles of complimentary water and a Nespresso machine with tabs supply. The bed deserves an extra mention - it was extremely comfortable.

The Grade B1-listed Bishop’s Gate Hotel is positioned within the historic city walls of Derry City’s Cathedral Quarter. Wonderful location. The restaurant and lounge was great. The rooms were a great size and very comfortable. The staff were wonderful, in particular Kaysi at the front desk who answered any questions we had, gave us plenty of insight on the city, and even gave a souvenir to take to my parents who had such a good experience with the hotel 8 years prior. Without a doubt, will return next time in Derry.

A period property in a quiet residential street, with free Wi-Fi and free parking, Derrin Guest House is less than 5 minutes’ drive away from the P&O Ferry Terminal at Larne Harbour. The Derrin house exceeded our expectations! The house was super cute and clean! Ivy the owner was so nice and helpful! She also provided a wonderful breakfast and accommodated gluten free diet with gf bread! She offered two types of breakfast - you could even have cereal, fruit, tea or coffee, toasts and jams! The place was perfect and I would highly recommend it!
