The room was lovely - very spacious - and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was good - recommend the pancakes - and dinner at the restaurant was great as well.

A former blacksmith’s, it offers fantastic food, free Wi-Fi throughout, and free parking on site. I stayed at the Fuzzy Duck to meet up with old friends and have a meal together. I had dinner and breakfast at the Fuzzy Duck. Breakfast is included in the room price. The food and service were exceptional and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

Best breakfast we have had in ages--we stayed two nights and were only too happy to request the exact same the 2nd morning. Thanks for our wonderful stay! The Red Lion is a Grade 2 listed stone-built coaching inn dating from 1748, located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and well situated for Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick, Oxford and The Cotswolds. This was easily the best stay I have ever had. The rooms, service, food, ambiance, and the overall experience was second to none. I loved the multi-course breakfast every morning, with a cozy fire always within view. The staff helped me find my way around town and were always checking to see if I needed anything. Traveling alone in a foreign country, I was made to feel at home.

The Salamander Guesthouse is a 2 storey Edwardian building which has recently undergone an extensive renovation (May 2023) to modernise all its facilities, offering guests comfortable accommodation all with en-suite shower rooms. The host Alex was exceptionally welcoming, from parking our car across the narrow lane to the back, carrying our bags, providing a local map and advice on where to eat and places to visit. Is was really very good. Besides the room there was a common sitting/living/dinning room that was very useful since we arrived late an had to have takeaway for dinner.
