Exceptionally large room, big comfortable bed and bathroom, very clean. I arrived early and they let me check in straight away. Also only a few minutes walk from the train station, situated in a pleasant area with bars and restaurants around.

Just 3 miles from Halifax, this family-run 17th-century inn has an award-winning restaurant offering excellent locally sourced food and a cosy bar. There is free Wi-Fi and traditional log fires. It was absolutely fantastic. Fab rooms, super food and sitting outside having a drink i can't think of a nicer place. And all the staff was very friendly and professional. Top place!

In the pretty village of Calverley, this 19th-century inn is just 7 miles from Leeds and offers an on-site pub with hearty food. Free parking is available, and Leeds Bradford Airport is 6 miles away. The building presents very well, atmosphere in all areas was welcoming, staff were courteous but not over attentive - I guess in short I felt at home there (i am a return customer) and I have not rated anyone else with a '10'
