This traditional, ivy-clad country free house close to Bath has beautiful boutique rooms and is just 3.2 km from picturesque Castle Combe.

The gorgeous 5-star rooms have wet rooms, rain showers, plasma TVs, internet access and stunning soft furnishings. The location was ok, even though you need to get there by car. We had so much fun on the Quiz night, the staff were very kind and the room was very nice. We really enjoyed our time there. We will probably repeat if we go back to Castle Combe!

Nearby attractions include Stonehenge, Wilton House, Salisbury Cathedral featuring “The Magna Carta”, Wardour Castle, Old Sarum, Longleat Safari park and Paulton’s Theme Park featuring Peppa Pig World. We are only 1 hour from Bath, and there are a host of fabulous golf courses and fishing areas, plus some of the most beautiful riverside walks. A lovely riverside pub called The Bridge Inn Woodford is a 5-minute drive away and has a stunning pub garden overlooking the water. A giant Waitrose Supermarket is within a 10-minute drive. It’s really a great place to stay, comfortable and stylish at the same time. Very nice owner too.

Exceptional Stay at Quidhampton Mills Quidhampton Mills is conveniently located very close to Salisbury, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The cleanliness of the property was exceptional, and the flat was beautifully decorated with a warm, homely touch. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay incredibly comfortable. Lesa was a fantastic host—she provided clear communication both before our arrival and throughout our stay. She thoughtfully explained local attractions and even provided us with a detailed information folder, which was very helpful. The kitchen, though compact, was a pleasure to use. It was well-equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and a full range of utensils—all in immaculate condition. I’ve never had a better experience staying away from home. The property also features a secure parking area with 24-hour access via remote, which added to our convenience and peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place to anyone visiting Salisbury. Thank you, Lesa, for making our stay so enjoyable. We truly hope to return to Quidhampton Mills in the future!
