This traditional, ivy-clad country free house close to Bath has beautiful boutique rooms and is just 3.2 km from picturesque Castle Combe. The room was 10/10 had all the amenities, an amazing bed, the bathroom was top notch as well. The breakfast was unbelievable, best breakfast that we have had on a hotel.

With a lovely 17th-century rustic country pub/restaurant directly across the road, Stonehenge Cottages are set in a picturesque village within a 10-minute drive of Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral. From the moment you walk in the front door, it is comfy, cozy & clean. The big bathroom & soaps are lovely & welcome pack is thoughtful. The bed & TV are great for relaxing. There is a pub offering meals right across the road.

Nestled in the quiet Wiltshire village of Upton Scudamore, The Angel Inn is a beautifully restored 16th century coaching inn. The room was spacious for two people and the bathroom was quite large. The towels were soft. The mini fridge had complementary orange juice and a small jug of milk for tea and coffee, as well as some water bottles. There was a nice cereal selection, as well as the sandwich offered for the breakfast the next morning. The shower heated up to a good temperature and was consistent. I liked both the large waterfall head and the hose. The fan was also nice to have!

Just a 15-minute drive from Stonehenge, The Pembroke Arms offers a restaurant, bar, free Wi-Fi and free parking. It is situated in the Wilton Estate, and Salisbury can be reached in 5 minutes by car. Staff incredibly friendly and courteous. Breakfast was delicious. And the little touches like cold milk and brownies in your room every day made you feel welcomed. Dinner on the grounds was a fun experience--outside, community, great food. Loved everything about this place!

Redwood Lodge offers cooked breakfasts, free parking and elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. Situated in peaceful Westbury, the lodge is a 20-minute drive from Stonehenge. A lovely little home from home run by very pleasant hosts. Although a very short stay room was great and extremely nice and comfortable

England’s oldest hotel (from 1220) in England’s first capital offers quintessentially English service and hospitality. excellent ambience, aesthetic and cosy indoors, super friendly and helpful staff, great amenities and amazing breakfast. I don’t usually rate hotels with 10, but that’s certainly a must visit, 10/10!

Rollestone Manor B&B and Restaurant is a beautiful, award-winning Grade II listed historic house, located just minutes from the World Heritage Site of Stonehenge. Quaint. Just like I imagined an English manor to look like. Very attentive staff. Efficient. Food was great.

In the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, this traditional country inn offers stylish and attractive accommodation; Michelin-recommended food; and peaceful, tranquil surroundings for a relaxing or... We were a family of 4, my husband, myself and my in-laws. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and have a unique character. The restaurant and bar are truly beautiful and convenient. Staff is exceptional and very helpful. We asked the owner if we could have breakfast at 8am instead of 9am, she immidiatley accepted and served us home-made breakfast on saturday and sunday. The food both breakfast and dinner were satisfying and good portions. I would recommend this inn because it feels like home.

Lesa was a fantastic host—she provided clear communication both before our arrival and throughout our stay. She thoughtfully explained local attractions and even provided us with a detailed information folder, which was very helpful. The kitchen, though compact, was a pleasure to use. It was well-equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, and a full range of utensils—all in immaculate condition. I’ve never had a better experience staying away from home. The property also features a secure parking area with 24-hour access via remote, which added to our convenience and peace of mind. I wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place to anyone visiting Salisbury. Thank you, Lesa, for making our stay so enjoyable. We truly hope to return to Quidhampton Mills in the future!

Lorne House is a Victoria villa, in the Wiltshire village of Box, just 6 miles from Bath. Free WiFi and onsite parking is available. Each room has an en-suite and is either a bathroom or wet-room. Perfect location! Very friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely room which was very clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast! Couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay!
