In June to September the heat can be too much for the elderly 70+. Stay under a shade. Best restaurants are in nearby Gavrio and Batsi. The cafe around the corner has delicious tyropita and spanakopita.

The uniquely decorated rooms at Paradise Design are air conditioned and have a balcony with panoramic sea view. Each is equipped with either minibar or fridge, and a private bathroom. Free WiFi, safe box and a smart TV are also included. This is probably one of the cleanest and well kept properties I've stayed at. The room was impeccably clean and it had a beautiful balcony. The beds were comfortable and linens and towels were great quality. The bathroom shower was large and had excellent hot water flow. The owner Nicholas was attentive and helped us to get a taxi ride to and from the port. He also had cars available at very good rates. We rented one for 2 days and it was excellent. I highly recommend.

First of all, the location (very close to Batsi and the port) and the fact, that this hotel has its own beach (not common on this island) is a big plus! The beach itself was really nice as it is located within a bigger bay that cuts the wind. The rocks, the sandy beach and crystal clear water and some side beaches for more privacy made this hotel stay very comfortable as we didn't need to look for other beaches. The music played at this beach was excellent (attention to detail!). Another bonus is the staff, which was extremely friendly, eloquent and helpful, actually it felt more like communicating to family members. You feel at home at this hotel because you are not treated as random guests. That is why it really felt kind of sad to depart at check-out. The breakfast was very nice with fresh pastry or cake, similar to a boutique hotel offer. While we were there, there was an art exhibition held in the hotel, which elevates the quality of image of this hotel even more. This hotel is definitely a gem. We would very much like to revisit this hotel!

Built in 1900, the property is within 600 metres of Andros Maritime Museum. The property is non-smoking and is set 300 metres from Neimporio Beach. The hotel is in the centre of Chora - shops and restaurants within short walking distance. Although we arrived much earlier than check-in time, we received a warm welcome from Maria and were shown to our room. The room looks old fashioned but is lacking nothing. Good breakfast with home made jams, yoghurt, eggs, juice. Hospitality gets a new meaning here. Excellent stay.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. The view is spectacular! The hotel is decorated simply and tastefully. Everyone working there is friendly and helpful. Planning to visit again in September/October when the water has warmed up.

Fantastic location and Alexandros was more than helpful and kind.

Beautifully situated with a wonderful view over the bay and port, this hotel is only 200 metres from Batsi’s main beach and 400 metres from the small beach of "Colona".

Enjoy your breakfast and light snacks in the bar area or poolside terrace, take a relaxing bathe in the pool and unwind under the soothing sun. The suite was huge, with a magnificent view of the Batsi Bay. The layout was very nice and the interior was great. The staff was really helpful and polite which made us feel welcome.
