Featuring a restaurant and a pool with sun terrace amidst its palm-tree garden, Royal Sun lies within 3 km from the centre of Chania Town. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of a hotel! It's located a few kilometers outside of the center and the old town but this was only a positive thing for us - lying by the pool (a big and clean pool for that matter) it was actually calm and quiet with only some birdsong to be heard. The hotel also provided a free shuttle every half an hour to the center and back so the distance was not an issue whatsoever. The staff was a m a z i n g, I can't compliment them enough. It must've been the warmest welcome I've received at any hotel, in any country, and they kept being so genuinely kind and helpful for our whole stay. The restaurant upstairs offers you the best sunset view in town and we actually ended up having dinner there almost every night since the food was also great there. The breakfast buffet was so great as well, with a big variety of food and omelets made to order. If (and hopefully, when) I return to Chania, I will definitely stay at Royal Sun again.

Aphrodite Beach Hotel is located on the sandy beach of Mavros Molos in Kissamos. It features a swimming pool, umbrellas and sunbeds on the beach and offers free WiFi throughout. Everything was wonderful. The location right on a quiet little beach, the gorgeous pool area, the rooms and facilities were perfect and the staff very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The bedroom was spacious and well appointed with a very comfortable bed and bathroom, and an outside patio surrounded by lush garden- delightful. Breakfast was a delicious buffet overlooking the pool and beach and varied each day. There was ample on street parking in front of and near the hotel. It is conveniently located near enough to Kissamos for supermarkets etc as well as neighbouring beaches such as Falasarna and Balos. We will be back next time we are in Kissamos.

Built in 1925 and classified as a monument, the GDM Megaron is located in the heart of Heraklion, overlooking the old Venetian port and within walking distance of all the major sights of the city. The breakfast was exceptional, I would visit the hotel again if only for the breakfast! The location is superb with open see view and next to the center, the room quite comfortable with small balckony, but the most remembering element it the bathroom with see view! The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming.

Located in Heraklion's elegant district, this 5-star hotel offers 2 gourmet restaurants, a free wellness centre and a large freshwater pool. Luxurious rooms feature balconies with pool and city views.... Easy to find parking, but still walking distance to the ceter. The poll was great to relax after visiting Knossos and especially the very friendly staff and amazing food.

This central Chania hotel is just 200 metres from the Old Town walls and the Venetian harbour. The staff was vEry friendly and extremely helpfull. Unbelievable positive experience

Located in the centre of Chania, Kydon Hotel is opposite of the main market hall and just a few minutes' walk from the Old Town and the Venetian Harbour. The hotel is very nice and clean! The staff is friendly, polite and helpful which made the whole stay even better. The room was comfortable and nice, ours also had a balcony where we could dry the clothes after beach and rest. Breakfast is also good and has some options, if you don't want to spend morning looking for a place to eat outside. Location was almost perfect, we could be at the city centre in maximum of 10 minutes walk. The hotel also has a parking with a small daily fee, it was very convenient since the island is big and we wanted to explore around with a car.

Porto Veneziano Hotel enjoys a privileged location on the waterfront of Chania's Old Venetian harbour. It offers panoramic views and accommodation in a minimal navy design. Although the property is ranked as a 3* hotel because of the smaller rooms, everything else is asking for a 4+. We had a lovely experience starting with the reception. The 2 ladies were so nice and attentive to all our needs. The same friendly and polite attitude from all the hotel staff. Breakfast was included, varied (fruits, yoghourt, salads, bruschetta, pastry, boiled eggs) and fresh. The room was clean with comfy beds. We really liked the room amenities: hair conditioner available in the shower, slippers, tea, soft napkins. We appreciated the free car parking also, as the harbor area is a bit crowded.

Friendly: Helpful and friendly staff from booking to checkout. Thanks to Maria who helped when flight delayed and Salem and Katrina who looked after us so well.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Shalom Luxury Rooms Kondilaki is centrally located in Chania Old Town, in the Venetian Harbour. Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Absolutely everything: the location, the cleanliness, the friendliness, everything was just on the spot! Special thanks to the owner Stella who responded immediately to our request for earlier check in because of the early flight and tight schedule as well as taking care of providing us even beach towels ☺️ We have already stayed there once early July and now again late August and would come back in future for sure!
