The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The hosts are extremely welcoming - they offered solutions to all our little needs, treated us to the most delicious breakfasts, including handmade cakes and pies (and were even kind enough to wait for the sleepyheads to get up and have breakfast at 11am instead of 10am, as is the policy), brought coffee on the house for those who had work to do, and gave us the opportunity to enjoy the most wonderful dinners in their family tavern. Definitely a place that offers good value for money and well worth a return visit.

The stone Avragonio is located 300 metres from Papigo Village centre. Built according to the local, traditional architecture, it features accommodation with fireplace and Tymfi Mountain views. The view from our room was absolutely exquisite. The location was close to the Vikos Gorge for anyone who is interested in hiking. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay long enough to truly enjoy all that the accommodation had to offer. The breakfast was healthy, plentiful and with a lot of choice. We would 100% return to this absolutely stunning accommodation in this unbelievably beautiful area

This was my first stay at Aithrio, and it can only be described as the perfect 3-day holiday. The room was exactly like the pictures. It was super comfortable, warm and really clean with a lovely fireplace. The best part was our wonderful host, Olga that went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She had a ton of information on what activities to do in the area was really friendly and inviting. And the breakfast she makes every morning set us up perfectly for a long day of exploring Zagoroxoria.
