Boasting a prime location within the castle walls, this century-old restored mansion features a tranquil courtyard and charming accommodation with views over the castle. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, behind the walls of the old city. It is forbidden to enter this part of the city, but hotel guests can enter. Parking nearby, by the castle - we received a special card allowing us to park, we could keep it also for the day of check-out. Very friendly service. We received detailed information on where to eat well and what to visit. Delicious breakfast served in the garden, in a very nice and professional manner. Room decorated nicely, kettle, tea, water in the room. 5 minutes on foot to the lakeside walking promenade.

Breakfast was A M A Z I N G. They can happily prepare for you great cappuccino, fresh eggs as you like them, and freesh local yougurt with honey, on top of different home made cakes etc.. healty cereal if you prefer etc.. the room was stunning, bathroom too and great soap, conditioner and shampoo. This was my first stay at Aithrio, and it can only be described as the perfect 3-day holiday. The room was exactly like the pictures. It was super comfortable, warm and really clean with a lovely fireplace. The best part was our wonderful host, Olga that went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. She had a ton of information on what activities to do in the area was really friendly and inviting. And the breakfast she makes every morning set us up perfectly for a long day of exploring Zagoroxoria.
