With respect to the local architecture, the stone-built Nereids Guesthouse enjoys views of the Saronic Gulf and Hydra Town from its furnished terraces. It consists of elegantly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Absolutely loved my stay here. Great host, BEAUTIFUL room with two double windows, one to look out to sea and one to see the mountains. Will absolutely be staying here again.

Surrounded by a garden with a stone-paved courtyard, it offers traditional accommodation with free Wi-Fi. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The room was great and spacious. Great location in a quiet street. Amazing staff, special thanks to Yiannis for always being so nice and helpful! Everything was perfect! We surely recommend this hotel.

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. Everything is very nice and comfortable

The traditionally built Hydroussa Hotel Hydra is located on Votsi Square, surrounded by lovely lemon trees. Due to its unique architecture, Hydroussa Hotel has been used in the past as a location for Hollywood films. The hotel looks even better than in the photos! Museum-like design with a lot of digitalization. very modern and retro at the same time. We truly enjoyed staying there.

On arrival we were welcomed by Nicholas who was extremely friendly and helpful. A great start to our stay. We were on the first floor and the room was a good size, the bed comfy, good wardrobe space, good air con, nice to have windows to open and let the sun in (even through the massive heat wave). The bathroom itself was small but did the job for our 5 night stay. The shower was a bit of a let down - very tight squeeze to get in and shut the doors (and we are average build). If we moved without thinking about this small space, we accidentally nudged the tap off or to the hot or cold side. Had to be super careful in that respect. The free breakfast was out of this world amazing, tasty, different every day, home cooked/made, abundant (got us through to the afternoon!). We looked forward to it every morning and ate 90 to 100% of it. Jenni was an amazing hostess who presented us with this breakfast daily and she tolerated my “5 to 6 cup coffee” husband with delightful dry humour! She always had a funny comment to make. Loved her! One of the house maids was super friendly and greeted us every time we saw her - sorry I didn’t get her name! Unlucky for us it was a heat wave the whole 5 days there so going back and forth from the city centre was quite the trek for this unfit oldish woman, but I achieved it 4 or 5 times a day, albeit puffed on arrival. On a cooler day it would be very pleasant. A thousand thank you’s Jenni, Nicholas and friendly housemaid - you made our stay in Hydra magical. Set in a historic building in the heart of Hydra, Angelica Traditional Boutique Hotel boasts charming accommodations with spa baths or jet showers, and offers a courtyard with a mini pool, hot tub and sauna. Hospitality was first rate. We were well looked after. Lovely breakfast was a bonus. Nice location right on the waterfront. 10 minute walk to main commercial centre. Visited during off season. Some things closed but did not spoil the visit.

Perfect location, stunningly cute with wonderful little features, amazingly helpful owner (Christos) and an inspiring approach to guest service, such as allowing me to store my suitcase after checkout, before my ferry and making a shower available for guests to freshen up from one final swim before their ferry. Brilliant!
