Boasting a privileged location, 300 metres from the gate of Monemvasia’s castle, Malvasia Traditional Hotel offers stone-built units most with views over the sea. We checked in at the reception area and our friendly host helped carry our bag down many steps and then up to our apartment. The apartment was spacious with beautiful views. We had a very large room with two tables and multiple seating areas and fireplace. The one bedroom was smaller with a full bed. The second room was larger with two twin beds. There were two toilet areas and a separate shower room. The balcony overlooked the water and had views of the town. It was all beautiful, clean and well kept. Breakfast was on the other side of town but just a short walk. Many delicious options were served.

Built of stone, Bastione Malvasia Hotel is situated in the medieval castle of Monemvasia, just 300 metres from the gate. Most probably will come back to Malvasia and if so, stay at the very same place. Perfect breakfast too. Staff is just amazing.

Set amidst lush greenery, at an altitude of 600 metres, the traditionally built Guesthouse Mazaraki is situated close to the picturesque village of Mystras, offering views of the Byzantine castle of... Nice room with a retro design. The staff was extremely nice, welcomed us with a cherry juice drink. Breakfast was very good, served to the room. The archeological site is close by and very recommended.

The staff, Kristina and Elena, were excellent, friendly, and personable. Our room, 301 junior suite, has (two!)great private balconies., and was simply fantastic (and quiet). This has been one our best accommodation experiences while touring Greece.

Lying on a private beach, a 30-minute drive away from the village of Monemvasia, Alas Resort & Spa offers 5-star accommodation with views over the Laconic Gulf. Great view, great breakfast and food, clean room, nice spa facilities, friendly staff. All in all a great stay.

Located in the Castle of Monemvasia, Ritsos Guesthouse offers stone-built accommodation with sea or garden views. Rooms and apartments at Guesthouse Ritsos are warmly decorated opening out to a patio.... Nice cosy and clean hotel in a nice location of the castle. We enjoyed our stay.

Marie Angela made us feel at home in every way—making us coffee and hot chocolate, showing us the market and best place to go into the water for swimming.
