Built of stone, Bastione Malvasia Hotel is situated in the medieval castle of Monemvasia, just 300 metres from the gate. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The Hotel is in the most perfect location in Monemvasia surrounded by historical attractions! There is also a delicious buffet breakfast in the morning.

Located in the Castle of Monemvasia, Ritsos Guesthouse offers stone-built accommodation with sea or garden views. Rooms and apartments at Guesthouse Ritsos are warmly decorated opening out to a patio.... The room was very clean and cosy. The decoration was very beautiful. Everything was like at the photos and even better. The kitchen was also well equipped and the stuff really helpful! The breakfast and the breakfast area were exceptional! The house is very very close to the place where you can swim.

We were very happy with our apartment which is situated a few meters and a few stairs away from the Monemvasia main gate (please note that you have to carry your suitcases or backpacks because of the cobble stones). The apartment is nicely furnished, offers a great view on the ocean from the windows (+ from the bed :)) and also has amenities like a coffee machine & coffee tabs. The owners have a store downstairs where you can get the keys and buy their local products like olive oil, wine or skin care. We had some problems with noise from the opposite bar one night because they tend to play loud music on Saturdays and the hosts did all they can to make up for it, even though it was not their fault and we really appreciated it. In terms of hospitality, these were one of the nicest hosts we have met so far.
