Centrally located in Thessaloniki City, the neoclassical-style Orestias Kastorias is within walking distance of Aristotelous Square and the White Tower. Friendly family-run hotel in an excellent central location. I requested and was given a quieter room, which was very clean with good-sized bathroom/shower and a lovely balcony overlooking the Roman ruins. Wifi and AC worked well. Blackout curtains ensured a good night's sleep. Staff were so helpful with bringing my bag up the stairs and giving advice for restaurants, public transport, directions -- anything you need, they help you! Convenient location for airport bus and tour departures from Aristotle Square, both a five minute walk away.

The Golden Star Hotel is a modern property situated on the beach of Peraia. It offers rooms with free WiFi and private balconies. The centre of Thessaloniki City is a 30-minute drive away. We were very pleased with the receptionist who let us check in earlier, we got a free room upgrade and they were absolutely professional and courteous. The place is wonderful. The only dislike goes to the breakfast staff that follows you around and you get to feel uncomfortable while choosing what to eat. The variety offered was excellent. I suggest the staff should stay at some distance in need of assistance to react, but let us enjoy some freedom :-)

Featuring free WiFi and an outdoor swimming pool, Olympus Thalassea Boutique Hotel offers accommodation in Paralia Katerinis, just 150 metres from the sandy beach. From the start, staff welcomed us at the desk upon arival, check in was fast and everything was ready even earlier than expected. Straight away a huge plus from us. Our room was new like in the pictures, spotless from day one till we left. Staff is very professional and doing their job 120%. We loved the breakfast served in a hotel yard outside in the shade, everything was tasteful, always something new and various deserts every day, also fresh fruit and vegetables were refreshing in the morning. We very much enjoyed our balcony since area is peaceful especially in the evening. There are few parking spots on the street for hotel guests only. Although we were on the 1st floor elevator was handy for luggage and if you come back tired from a long walk.
