We took a standard room with a balcony, where you can see the sea and the castle wall, especially in the early morning — the view is breathtaking. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, impeccable cleanliness

We regret we didn't book for 2 nights.

Beautifully restored Pension Dafni is located in Nafplio’s Old Town, underneath Palamidi Fortress, 200 metres from Arvanitia Beach. It has a snack bar and offers tastefully decorated rooms with bright-coloured walls. Sweet people. Great location. Amazing breakfast. Felt at home.

Occupying a traditional stone mansion with wonderful views of the surrounding area, Bacchus is a charming and luxurious pension 3 km from Ancient Olympia.

Bacchus' 6 rooms are stylishly decorated. They come with air conditioning, balcony and fridge. A 10 is not enough to describe our experience in Bacchus. The inn has an amazing view (great sunset view too!) and a very cozy, rustic feel to it, aided by the basis on stone and wood. The room was spacious, spotless and fully outfitted with all the usual hotel equipment. All furniture and appliances were in great condition. The dining area is very pretty and the breakfast selection was varied and delicious all around. The restaurant has great food and reasonable prices. The pool is another highlight. It definitely is the cleanest one I've ever been to and is very beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they made us feel right at home from the very first second. I'll also have to praise Bacchus for being careful about conserving water and energy (e.g. 2 modes for flushing water, A/C goes on standby when windows are open). All in all, if you are in the area, this is the place to stay, no questions asked. We are already planning our next visit!

Former residence of a 19th century mayor of Nafplion, Ilion is situated in the centre of the Old Town, overlooking Syntagma Square. It features classical furnishings and rooms with different themes. A hammam is available. Wow. Amazing place. Such a beautiful room and the staff is incredibly kind. Historical vibes with comfort. Everything was fantastic and the breakfast was a highlight Highly recommended

Hotel Europa Olympia is built on the top of Drouvas Hill in Ancient Olympia. It offers a 24-hour front desk, 3 bars (two indoors and one pool bar) and a Greek restaurant and a pool-side tavern, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Excellent location right above the archeological side. Very friendly staff. Nice big swimming pool with bar. Make sure you don’t miss a nice dinner under the olive trees!
