Boasting a privileged location, 300 metres from the gate of Monemvasia’s castle, Malvasia Traditional Hotel offers stone-built units most with views over the sea. A buffet breakfast is served at the breakfast room and terrace of the main building. We checked in at the reception area and our friendly host helped carry our bag down many steps and then up to our apartment. The apartment was spacious with beautiful views. We had a very large room with two tables and multiple seating areas and fireplace. The one bedroom was smaller with a full bed. The second room was larger with two twin beds. There were two toilet areas and a separate shower room. The balcony overlooked the water and had views of the town. It was all beautiful, clean and well kept. Breakfast was on the other side of town but just a short walk. Many delicious options were served.

Combining modern and traditional elements, its accommodation provides Aegean Sea views. Nice and big room in multiple levels with a great view and privacy. Comfortable and super clean bed and bathroom. Independent entrance. We stayed at the “Suite with balcony”. Highly recommend property!

Free wood for the fireplace may be delivered and information on local fine cuisine or nightlife can be provided. Nice room with a retro design. The staff was extremely nice, welcomed us with a cherry juice drink. Breakfast was very good, served to the room. The archeological site is close by and very recommended.

Beautifully restored Pension Dafni is located in Nafplio’s Old Town, underneath Palamidi Fortress, 200 metres from Arvanitia Beach. It has a snack bar and offers tastefully decorated rooms with bright-coloured walls. Amazing stuff and great location. Walking distance to anywhere and we found a close free parking

Occupying a traditional stone mansion with wonderful views of the surrounding area, Bacchus is a charming and luxurious pension 3 km from Ancient Olympia.

Bacchus' 6 rooms are stylishly decorated. They come with air conditioning, balcony and fridge. A 10 is not enough to describe our experience in Bacchus. The inn has an amazing view (great sunset view too!) and a very cozy, rustic feel to it, aided by the basis on stone and wood. The room was spacious, spotless and fully outfitted with all the usual hotel equipment. All furniture and appliances were in great condition. The dining area is very pretty and the breakfast selection was varied and delicious all around. The restaurant has great food and reasonable prices. The pool is another highlight. It definitely is the cleanest one I've ever been to and is very beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, they made us feel right at home from the very first second. I'll also have to praise Bacchus for being careful about conserving water and energy (e.g. 2 modes for flushing water, A/C goes on standby when windows are open). All in all, if you are in the area, this is the place to stay, no questions asked. We are already planning our next visit!

Hotel Europa Olympia is built on the top of Drouvas Hill in Ancient Olympia. At 44 years old this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff, the restaurant, the pool, the room, the breakfast, the garden, the sunset, everything is more than worth it.
