Hotel Aegli, conveniently situated near the port and centre of Volos, provides accommodation throughout the year, in the most privileged location, enjoying views of the port. The room was truly upmarket and the moon-shaped balcony was spacious with a great side-on view of the foreshore and harbour. The set-out of the room was very neatly arranged with regard to space availability - but the typical "greek-style" shower was large with good fittings and that suited us well. Breakfast was more than we expected. I would rate the breakfast as supurb. Moreover the cappucino's were outstanding, despite having to pay a little extra for them - well worth it though. The location couldn't have been better for us - right on the foreshore. Perfect to board our yacht which was moored almost directly in front of the hotel.

Located in the scenic village of Makrinitsa, Hotel Adam features traditional accommodation with views of the Pagasetic Gulf or Pelio Mountains. It was vintage, but modern and functionall. The staff were helpful, breakfast excellent.

Featuring a tastefully decorated bar with sofas and a fireplace, the traditionally-built Pilion Terra Hotel is located in Pilion, between Makrynitsa and Portaria Village. The view was amazing. Kind hosts. Great place to stay. Tasty breakfast. I loved it.

Also, vey much appreciated the tips to visit Pelion. I’ll return one day for sure.

The feeling of “old” with the comfort of “new”, as this newer building was built to local codes requiring a certain look. Beautiful stone building and room interiors, very tasteful grounds, and Barbara was super nice. And a fantastic restaurant 3 minutes away, by foot. If you like to hike, and don’t mind elevation, hike from hotel down 900 ft to the “Mama Mia” beach. (Steep, but not difficult if in hiking shape).

Stone-built Adis Oneirou is surrounded by a blooming garden in the village of Mouresi on Mount Pelion. It offers traditional rooms with a fireplace and views to the Aegean Sea and the lush... I recently stayed at Adis Oneirou for two nights and had a great experience. The room was lovely and very clean. Even though we were only staying for a short time, the staff made sure to clean the room and change the towels, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent, with everything made fresh by hand. The location was beautiful, offering great views of both the sea and the mountains, and the surrounding nature was just as stunning. The owner was also really friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Agapitos Villas and Guesthouses located in Mouresi village is a traditional complex built with respect to the Pelion architectural style. It features a swimming pool and free on-site parking. Beautiful place, very friendly staff excellent food - what more can you ask for....

Stevalia Hotel & Spa is located in Katichori Village of Pelion, within 1 km from the scenic Portaria. It has a spa centre, and offers free Wi-Fi in all areas and luxurious, classic rooms. The hotel is clean, the location is excellent, the breakfast is excellent, the staff are nice and friendly. We upgraded the room to a honeymoon suite and it was wonderful and excellent, a large clean room with a large balcony.
