Featuring a balcony with garden views, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden, Manolis' House can be found in Skiathos Town, close to Megali Ammos Beach and 500 metres from Papadiamantis' House. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. 10/10 stay for many reasons, including: - Manolis is a very kind and helpful host! - the property is a beautiful oasis, with a lush garden and relaxing atmosphere; - the room has great design and has everything you need; - we really enjoyed the pool area which is very clean and modern, with plenty of seating space; - It's close to the main street, so it's quiet while having most bars and restaurants close by.

Just 50 metres from a tranquil bay and 6 kilometres from Skiathos harbour, these self-catering studios are surrounded by 10,000 m² of lush gardens with an outdoor pool.

The Ostria studios are bright, air-conditioned and tastefully furnished. Prepare meals in your well-equipped kitchenette and relax with a drink after dinner on your spacious balcony. Our stay at Ostria was absolutely wonderful!! The whole property is so pretty and so peaceful. It’s set back a bit from the main road so it’s completely quiet, yet it’s close enough to the street that you have the bus stop about 3 minutes away and many delicious restaurants all around. The pool area is very clean and pretty. The pool isn’t the biggest but completely enough for the fact that you are on an island with so many beautiful beaches. The rooms are clean, cozy, and spacious. The balconies have a lovely view, the bathroom is newly renovated and there is even a kitchenette! Breakfast at the hotel was also lovely and had many options. Eggs, bread, cereals, sweets, meats and many more. Maria at the breakfast is a sweetheart. And Anna, the owner, is such a fun, sassy and sweet woman and is so helpful as well. She helped us rent a car for the day, and recommended many wonderful beaches and restaurants. Overall, all the people that worked at the hotel really made you feel at home. The hotel is situated in Kolios which is a really ideal place to stay. It’s about 15 min from town by bus and 10 min from koukounaries by bus, so it’s so easy to get everywhere, yet it’s a lot more calm. There is also a market right around the corner that has everything you may need. So overall it’s truly a wonderful hotel. This was our first time on Skiathos, so we didn’t really know where to stay and just ended up deciding on this hotel, and boy are we glad that we did! If we ever come back to Skiathos, we would definitely love to stay here again. Seriously can’t recommend it enough!!

Ideally located in the protected area of the Strofilia Lake, 200 metres from the award-winning Koukounaries Beach, Mandraki Village Boutique Hotel features a swimming pool and restaurant. It offers elegant accommodation with free internet and balcony. Skiathos is awesome, small, very lush, with plenty of excellent beaches, very friendly locals and impressive cuisine (sometimes unfortunately toned down a bit to meet the taste of the tourists; look for places a bit off the main throughfares). The only issue is that it gets very crowded and there are a lot of obnoxious and loud British, who seem to think that they own the place. Visiting the Monastery of Evangelistria is a must (the aforementioned British are excused from this). Local honey and wine are exquisite (for the latter, refer to the wine list in the restaurant). The hotel is very close to Koukounaries Beach (5 mins walk, downhill - uphill on the way back...), which is beautiful, but quite noisy and crowded, especially in the early afternoon, when the water taxis bring in hordes of tourists from the city. Banana Beach is supposed to be very nice, but has all but been taken over by the nearby luxury hotel, could not find a way there. Best bet is to rent a car and visit the genuinely awesome secluded beaches on the western/northern shore, accessible via a dirt road (watch out for people, who do have a quad, but not common sense). Note that there are only a few understocked and overpriced shops and small choice of restaurants in the area. For shopping groceries, rent a car and head to one of the Sklavenitis shops (biggest one is next to the airport). The hotel itself comprises of several small buildings scattered around in a beautifully kept garden, rooms are nice and spacious. The swimming pool is quite small, but there is no reason why anyone would spend any time there with all the awesome beaches around. The staff are very professional, helpful and kind. As regards breakfast: this is one of the rare cases when "excellent" is right on point.
