The host, Christof, is very friendly and helpful. The location is at a prime location, easy to move around the city, and the view from our balcony was excellent; we could see the Church of Nicholas from there. The room was very clean and tidy, with a very artistic design. The host also gave us good recommendations regarding restaurants, tourist attractions and taxi transfers, we really enjoyed our stay there. We have no trouble doing laundry in the premises (after our long journey in Europe); Christof is very helpful and understanding in this. We highly recommend this hotel. This little gem is under new management and the new proprietors Konstantina and Harold are the heart of the undertaking. Their open friendliness and genuine passion about the place make all the difference. Always helpful with the best tips for the island and more. The breakfast with fresh and local produce with delicious baked goods by Harold was another highlight. Our room had a fantastic view taking in the whole bay and the comfortable bed was heaven after days of busy exploring. The little fishing town was one of the loveliest on the island, a very good base from where to venture out. A rooftop terrace for a sundowner and the beach across the street made it a very relaxed spot for a very comfortable stay indeed. We wish them all the luck for many more successful seasons to come!

Boasting a privileged location, just metres away from Ermoupolis centre, Hotel Ploes is housed in a listed, early 19th-century Neoclassical mansion. It was my preferred hotel in 2 months of travel trough out Europe. The place is beautiful, and tastefully decorated, the breakfast was really good and the bathing platform takes the entire staying to another level. The location is the best in Ermopoli. I ll be back.

Housed in a historic building dating back to the 19th century, Syrou Melathron is located in Vaporia, near the Asteria Bay. Delicious breakfast with an amazing view. Friendly and service-minded staff :)
