Ziogas Rooms is located in the traditional village of Kastraki, surrounded by the rocks of Meteora. All rooms have a balcony, with stunning area views. There is free Wi-Fi and parking. Spiros went above and beyond for us - due to some unforeseen circumstances, we arrived very late, however, our rooms were waiting for us upon arrival. The rooms are large and have everything you need, the view is amazing, and the breakfast was so good - all was freshly cooked, and we were served the best orange juice I have ever had.

Hotel Aegli, conveniently situated near the port and centre of Volos, provides accommodation throughout the year, in the most privileged location, enjoying views of the port. The room was truly upmarket and the moon-shaped balcony was spacious with a great side-on view of the foreshore and harbour. The set-out of the room was very neatly arranged with regard to space availability - but the typical "greek-style" shower was large with good fittings and that suited us well. Breakfast was more than we expected. I would rate the breakfast as supurb. Moreover the cappucino's were outstanding, despite having to pay a little extra for them - well worth it though. The location couldn't have been better for us - right on the foreshore. Perfect to board our yacht which was moored almost directly in front of the hotel.

Set in one of the highest points of Kastraki village with fantastic views of the Pindos Mountains, Pyrgos Adrachti offers spacious rooms with large windows at the base of the Meteora. Spectacular view from the room with large balcony, two chairs and table. Nice and spacious room and bathroom. Welcoming owner who gave us a lot of precious information, very effective and efficient. Would definitely come back

This monastery-style guesthouse is just 200 metres from Kalampaka centre just behind the small picturesque train station. It offers rustic rooms with free Wi-Fi and panoramic views of Meteora. The only place we stayed in Greece where we did not feel cramped by lack of space - the apartment was lovely and clean with a large balcony. Helpful staff and great breakfast!

Located in Skiathos Town, Saint George Villas & Apartments offer self-catering accommodation with free WiFi access and views over the Aegean Sea, the lake, the mountain and the town. The partment was spacious, well-equipped, clean, we found everything we needed. And we had a very nice and helpful host. We could see the airplanes landing and flying off :)

We had the most wonderful stay at Stolios Apartments. George and Elli were so kind and accommodating, we had everything we needed and more! The apartment, outdoor sitting area and view were so beautiful! The apartment was situated in a lovely big garden, and you could see the love and care that had been poured into the space. We enjoyed having our breakfast or a glass of wine overlooking the spectacular view. We didn't have private transport, but could easily make do by walking down to the village and catching taxis home (€15). The walk down was very pleasant and we passed many cats and fig trees on the way. A particular pleasure was meeting Greta, the blind kitten: one of the sweetest cats we've ever met. Thank you for a wonderful stay. If we ever make it back to Skopelos we will definitely be staying at Stolios Apartments

Featuring a tastefully decorated bar with sofas and a fireplace, the traditionally-built Pilion Terra Hotel is located in Pilion, between Makrynitsa and Portaria Village. The view was amazing. Kind hosts. Great place to stay. Tasty breakfast. I loved it.
