Nikolas has a wonderful depth of knowledge about the area - including environmental and cultural aspects - that he was happy to share.

Located in Monodendri village, family-run Zagori Philoxenia is a stone-built hotel featuring rooms with a furnished balcony overlooking Mount Tymfi. The owners are very friendly and nice people, they really take care of their guests. The location of the hotel was super convenient. The hotel itself is really beautiful, clean and the breakfast superb.

Artsista Houses features regionally built and styled residences with splendid views of the mountaintops of Astraka and the national park of Zagorochoria. The apartments are located on a beautiful complex right in the center of Aristi. They are very tastefully decorated and all have a terrace (some with a mountain view). The breakfast in the restaurant opposite was exceptionally good, plentiful and very typical of the country.
