Hotel Utz Jay is located 2 blocks from Lake Atitlan in Panajachel. It offers lush gardens and fruit trees, a hot tub and a Mayan-style sauna filled with relaxing aromatic herbs. One of my favourite places to stay from Guatemala. Really close to the centre, beautiful room with such a nice view, even from the bathroom, over the green garden. You can stay here for a beer (from the next door shop) and a chat. The breakfast is not included, but there are great and fair priced options at the on site restaurant. They also have a laundry service. And the staff is great!

Hotel Atitlan, located in front of Lake Atitlán, is a rustic-style property offering extensive gardens and panoramic views of Atitlan Lake. It has an outdoor pool, hot tub, and a botanical garden. This property is magical! The staff is excellent and went above and beyond to make us happy. It’s also a great place to take kids. You can see an active volcano from the gardens at night.

Set next to Lake Atitlán, Porta Hotel del Lago offers views of the Guatemalan Highlands. It features an outdoor swimming pool, terrace and gym. The location of this hotel with views of Lake Atitlan, and close to the main shopping and dining areas of Panajachel made it a perfect choice. Sunset views were magnificent! To top it off, very friendly and professional staff
