Nestled on a rock above the sea, Boutique & Design Hotel Navis - Small Luxury Hotels of the World offers an outdoor pool and a luxury interior. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and a private beach just few steps from the hotel, as well as the spa centre. The historic core of Opatija is 2.5 km away. Navis is a boutique hotel with only 44-rooms. We stayed in a 1-bed suite on the 4th floor which is the top floor. The room is spacious, has a king-size bed, industrial modern style furnishings and an outstanding view of the sea. We had a bottle of Prosecco, water and a lovely bowl of assorted fruit awaiting for us in the room. I chose to include breakfast with our stay and it was incredible. In addition to the breakfast buffet options like bread, cheese, cold cuts, cereal, assorted juices, coffee/cappuccino fruit cups, prosecco, etc. Navis offers a separate menu with prepared to order options like omelettes, Eggs Benedict, avocado toast, sausage, etc. also included. See menu photos I included in my review. Breakfast is incredible and the chef/kitchen is very accommodating in creating options for dietary restricted guests. We had two vegans out of five people in our group and both were happy with the dinner meals that were prepared for them and the food available for them at breakfast. Lastly, which was pretty cool, our family in Croatia was able to pick us up in their boat from the Navis dock. What was truly impressive is a Navis staff person came down from the hotel to assist with guiding the boat to the dock and lend a hand getting us into the boat safely.

It comprises an on-site gourmet restaurant with a selection of over 600 wines and champagnes. We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Bevanda in Opatija. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is simply stunning, offering breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea — it truly made our stay unforgettable. The staff were outstandingly friendly, professional, and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. The hotel restaurant was another highlight, offering an exceptional breakfast and dining experience with delicious food, a great atmosphere, and those same beautiful sea views. Everything about this hotel - from the room to the service - was flawless. We couldn’t think of a single thing that didn’t exceed our expectations. If you’re looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Opatija, Bevanda is the perfect choice.

Located 900 metres from the centre of Lovran and just 20 metres from the nearest beach, Hotel Villa Astra is set in a quiet area, next to the 15-km long seaside promenade and consists of a main building and an annex. Buffet breakfast is available on site, as well as a Wellness Area. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are offered. You arrive in paradise: gorgeous Mediterranean villa surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers! The owner and staff are very welcoming. We spent time on the terrace where we also had a wonderful breakfast the next day. Our room was very spacious and clean with balcony overlooking the property and a window with a sea view. From the terrace you walk out on the private beach and can stroll for 10 min into the town center along the water. Everything about Villa Astra is perfect! We are very impressed! Would love to come back!

Built in 1909 by a Viennese entrepreneur Anton Urm, this hotel has hosted numerous aristocratic guests, including the Austrian-Hungarian emperor Franz Joseph. It was rebuilt almost 80 years later, with attention to its original design and preserving a romantic atmosphere. Breakfast was diverse and really nice 👍🙂

Completely renovated in 2020 and housed in an Austro-Hungarian villa dating back to 1886, this 5-star hotel is situated amid a well-groomed St. Jacob Park in the centre of Opatija. Only 50 metres from the beach and the 12-km long seaside promenade, Villa Eugenia is located in the centre of the mediaeval Lovran, on the Opatija Riviera.

Built in 1910 in the Secessionist style, the villa consists of accommodation units with air conditioning, internet connection, a TV, minibar and a safe. A private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries is also provided in each unit. Some room types feature a balcony and sea view. Breakfast is amazing, the facilities are clean and the staff is great. We're here for the 2nd time and we'll definitely come back.

Milenij blends the spirit of the historic tradition with contemporary design and decorations. Rooms are air-conditioned and come with a satellite TV and a minibar. Modern-style bathrooms include a hairdryer and free toiletries. Glamorous hotel 50 meters away from the statue of Girl with a seagull. Staff was amazing, polite, but not pushy at any moment. Room modern and clean, view to die for.

Featuring a wellness & spa centre, the newly renovated Hotel Bellevue - Liburnia is housed in a beautiful Empire-style building, as one of the oldest hotel it is considered a local landmark. Ideally set along the main street facing the sea, it offers free Wi-Fi and an à-la-carte restaurant. Friendly staff, clean, great breakfast, wonderful location. A very pleasant stay.
