The staff were outstandingly friendly, professional, and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. The hotel restaurant was another highlight, offering an exceptional breakfast and dining experience with delicious food, a great atmosphere, and those same beautiful sea views. Everything about this hotel - from the room to the service - was flawless. We couldn’t think of a single thing that didn’t exceed our expectations. Located 900 metres from the centre of Lovran and just 20 metres from the nearest beach, Hotel Villa Astra is set in a quiet area, next to the 15-km long seaside promenade and consists of a main building and an annex. Buffet breakfast is available on site, as well as a Wellness Area. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are offered. You arrive in paradise: gorgeous Mediterranean villa surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers! The owner and staff are very welcoming. We spent time on the terrace where we also had a wonderful breakfast the next day. Our room was very spacious and clean with balcony overlooking the property and a window with a sea view. From the terrace you walk out on the private beach and can stroll for 10 min into the town center along the water. Everything about Villa Astra is perfect! We are very impressed! Would love to come back!

Built in 1909 by a Viennese entrepreneur Anton Urm, this hotel has hosted numerous aristocratic guests, including the Austrian-Hungarian emperor Franz Joseph. It was rebuilt almost 80 years later, with attention to its original design and preserving a romantic atmosphere. Breakfast was diverse and really nice 👍🙂

Featuring a wellness & spa centre, the newly renovated Hotel Bellevue - Liburnia is housed in a beautiful Empire-style building, as one of the oldest hotel it is considered a local landmark. Ideally set along the main street facing the sea, it offers free Wi-Fi and an à-la-carte restaurant. We loved our stay in this hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious, beds huge and comfortable and the sea view was always gorgeous! Our rooms were very quite, with thick walls, even baby camera did not work in the next room. Breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of tasty food. We also enjoyed the main restaurant premises - all light coloured and spacious, with baby chairs for those who need. SPA zone and swimming pool I can recommend. The swimming pool is nicely big with heated salty sea water. SPA treatments are various and done by professionals with lots of care and attention to your needs. Hotel staff was everywhere - in the restaurant, at reception and in the SPA, very friendly and attentive. We felt well taken care of and pampered :)
